it’s amazing how people will still resent Kanye West from interrupting an acceptance speech at a meaningless awards show but will welcome back Chris Brown with open arms after he beat his girlfriend
I mean, his career didn’t suffer at all; nobody in Hollywood blamed him for doing something wrong (Except Usher, who had to apologize about it because he was catching so much shit for calling him out); and Rihanna somehow became the one at fault for getting beat. The thing that amazes me the most is how many females claim people need to get over the fact that he beat her so bad she needed to go to the hospital. He never suffered any negative effects, but it’s time we get over it.
