Went to New Orleans for Mardi Gras last weekend.
Check out the rest of the photos HERE

Still don’t get all the Mardi Gras hype.
Too many people, too many drunks, too many beads, too much alcohol, too many creeps.

I’ll say this about my trip,
It was definitely a good opportunity to observe and study the social behavior of people who attend these type of functions/parties/events. I won’t ever go back to Mardi Gras, I was very disappointed with a lot of what I saw (particularly with how the majority of the men treated most of the women - not cool fellas).

What you saw was NOT Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras is Tuesday February 21. What you saw were drunk tourists in the French Quarter thinking they’re experiencing Mardi Gras.

I don’t think I’ve ever known a New Orleanian to flash at Mardi Gras. It’s always tourists in the Quarter who think it’s something everyone does. This is why I always watch the parades uptown. Not as many tourists acting ridiculous.
